Description:You could obviously do a lot worse than Ted Thompson for a GM. Some risks do need to be taken in free agency and Thompson is maybe the most risk averse GM in the league. We always seem to be a player or two away, and TT definitely deserves to be criticized for that. But at the same time, we almost always have the most cap space of every contender and have failed to make moves that would put us over the top think NE signing Revis. Woodson, Peppers, Cooks, even Guion was a solid contributor for us. He's also made a lot of unorthodox defensive picks that failed to pan out. But he also takes his philosophy prior to this year!
