Description:Sin City goes all out on Independence Day, setting off thousands of fireworks that light up the nighttime sky over the Strip even more than usual. Last year, in , over , people visited Las Vegas during the holiday. Each Fourth of July or the closest weekend to , fireworks are shot off from casinos on the Strip, Fremont Street downtown, as well as at three off-Strip casinos. This year, there were Strip fireworks on Saturday, June 30th, while other displays will take place on opposite ends of the Strip on July 4th itself, more on that below. These include fireworks shows on the Strip, downtown, in locals casinos off the strip, a fireworks display at the downtown baseball stadium on July 3rd this year , and in the nearby suburbs of Henderson and Summerlin. Actually their show took place on Saturday, June 30th this year.
